Meet Lux and Freya and discover the personal and professional experience behind Trans Makeover in the Netherlands.
Lux
A space built from personal experience.
Trans Makeover was registered in 2020 together with sister company Trans Academy. Lux is genderfluid and created the service after her own journey of navigating rigid gender expectations and finding a way to express both masculinity and femininity.
Her professional background spans beauty, fashion and coaching: a former beauty salon owner, makeup artist and Fashion Week designer whose work was featured by Vogue, she later trained in coaching and counselling.
Freya
Photography with understanding.
Freya is Lux’s life partner, a proud trans woman and a key part of Trans Makeover. After studying at the Dutch School of Photography, she often photographs sessions and brings both technical skill and lived understanding to the experience.
